ABOUT THE ARTIST
Christina Marie was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and has always been driven by creativity, curiosity, and the need to make things feel beautiful and intentional. She has a natural eye for design and a way of transforming ideas into experiences people remember.
In 2019, while living in Norcross, Georgia, she opened her first full storefront inside a local mall. The shop operated as a Gemar balloon distribution and wholesale center, serving both the public and certified balloon artists. It was in that space that Christina refined her craft, experimented with color and structure, and began to develop the clean, bold style that would later define Pinchy Pop. Six months after opening the mall shut down entirely due to COVID, forcing every store, including hers, to close.
In 2023, Christina relocated to Arizona and brought the vision with her. Instead of reopening as a supply shop, she rebuilt Pinchy Pop into a design-driven balloon and event-styling brand known for intentional color palettes, clean builds, modem concepts, and installations that don't look like anyone else's.
Alongside her creative work, Christina is an LNA continuing her nursing education. The qualities that make her strong in healthcare - empathy, detail, patience, calm under pressure - naturally influence her artistry. Her two worlds work together, shaping the way she approaches both clients and creative projects.
Christina is also expanding her creative footprint through a children's book, a cookbook, and multiple digital products that reflect her humor, honesty, and lived experience. Her work spans art. storytelling, and service because she has never been limited to a single lane.
From Miami to Georgia to Arizona, from a storefront to large-scale installations, Christina Marie's focus remains the same:
to create work that makes people feel seen, celebrated, and connected.
Her story is still unfolding and Pinchy Pop is just one chapter of a much bigger creative journey.
